Our partners
Home Mover
As we move through the various stages of our lives, different needs cause us to upsize or downsize, maybe we want a bigger or smaller garden, or to live in a rural idyll or urban excitement. Let us get to know you and what you want to achieve.
With a few basic details we can quickly provide you with a good idea of what you can borrow and how much you could use as a deposit. If you’re not quite where you need to be, we can plan a way to get you there.
We’ll search for the best deal from a wide range of lenders, then process the application and liaise with the lender to get you an offer as quickly as possible.
Throughout we will be at the end of the phone with advice and guidance until you finally move into your new home.
“Sidonie was absolutely amazing! She made the whole mortgage and buying process so much less stressful. At times, it felt more like chatting with a friend who genuinely had my best interests at heart rather than just a mortgage advisor. She explained everything clearly, was super approachable, and went above and beyond to make sure I got the best deal. I couldn’t have done it without her!”
Our Process
Want to know more about what’s involved?
Explore each step of the process to gain a basic understanding of our process when finding you the right mortgage and helping you secure your dream home!
-
A quick call to get to know each other and find out more about your plans
Questions we will ask:
Current mortgage details
Current household earnings and commitments
What you’re hoping to do
-
We’ll do some research and put together possible options for us to discuss.
This could include:
How much you could borrow
How much you can buy a house for
A rough guide to the cost per month
-
We’ll have a chat to discuss the initial figures, making sure they suit you. We want you to feel happy and confident with your future mortgage and we’ll spend as much time as you need to get it right.
-
(also called Agreement in Principle and Mortgage in Principle – confusing!)
The next step is to approach a mortgage lender and tell them:
Who you are
What you earn and owe
What you want to borrow
The lender will run a credit check and produce a certificate confirming what you can borrow. This is the Decision in Principle.
It will give you a degree of certainty and is required by estate agents.
-
Over to you to find the house of your dreams.
Don’t forget we’re here to help you through the whole process.
